What does the "flipped" icon next to some of the per-market hit-rates mean?
The per-market hit-rates indicate absolute predictive power, in that a hit-rate below 50% is a good contrary indicator. Hence, we invert hit-rates below 50% but display the icon to show a contrary indicator.
What does the "Community Predition" mean?
The prediction is shown as "Pending" before the market opens as voting is still in progress. All Consensus View members can see the prediction for a market as soon as it opens, provided they are logged in and have voted on the relevant market that day. If you have not voted you cannot see the prediction for the first 30 minutes after the open when it will also be shown as "Pending".

The prediction takes into account the current consensus view for the market and the historical performance of the consensus view. A "Bullish" prediction can mean one of 2 things:
  • The consensus today is bullish and has historically been correct
  • The consensus today is bearish but has historically been a contrary indicator
The opposite holds true for a "Bearish" prediction. A "Neutral" prediction means that either the consensus today is neutral (0%) or that the consensus has a historical hit-rate of 50%, which is equivalent to a random prediction.
When I try to vote the website says "Voting Closed" and does not allow me to cast my vote.
Voting starts at 02:30 AM London Time and closes at the opening of the market in question. If you get the message "Voting Closed" it means that you are trying to cast your vote outside of this time window.
How can I select the markets that I want to vote on?
Once you have logged in, click on "My Markets". Click on the "Choose More Markets" button at the top of the screen. You can then choose from the different categories available, or search for a market by its name or symbol.
Why doesn't my hit rate show up immediately?
In order to have a hit-rate you must have cast at least 10 votes over the last 15 trading days for daily markets, 6 votes in 9 weeks for weekly markets or 2 votes in 3 months in monthly markets.
When will my name appear on a market-specific leaderboard?
In order to qualify for a market specific leader-board you must have cast at least 10 votes in the last 15 trading days for the market in question (or 6 votes in 9 weeks, or 2 votes in three months, depending on the time-frame - see above).
How do I qualify for the main leaderboard?
In order to qualify for the main leaderboard you must have cast at least 100 votes across any number of markets over the last 20 trading days with the requisite hit-rate to make the top 5 across all participants on Consensus View.
